Team George RIB Challenge 

After months of rope throwing and RIB manoeuvres, all three teams from the Royal St George Yacht Club qualified for the National Final of the RIB Challenge. The challenges ranged from boat handling skills, navigation, to coastal theory and personal safety. All teams did us proud and learnt so much in the process.

Winning the Yachtsman Euromarine RIB Challenge Competition in 2011.
Winning the RIB Challenge is a huge boost to the club. We now have a club safety boat and competent crews. It has given the Challenge participants the confidence to continue advancing their safety boat skills, and most of all it has enabled the club to focus on building up a children's dinghy fleet this winter. It's a dream come true!
